The Asian Food highlights of Fleet Street

London is home to some of the most diverse cuisines around the world, and when you think of Asian food, you’d probably look to places like Chinatown or New Malden and their various vibrant communities.

So it might come as a surprise that one of the next best places for Asian food is the Fleet Street area! We’ve curated some of our favourite places to visit, so use this list as an excuse for a great lunch and get exploring!

Little Bánh Bánh

Good food for under a tenner can be harder to find, but Little Bánh Bánh has a full-size Vietnamese sandwich on crispy bread with your choice of filling on offer for a great price.

The sides are also delightfully fresh and they cater to a wide variety of diets, whether it’s low-calorie, gluten-free or vegan.

Find them at 170 Fleet St, EC4A 2EA.

Kimchimama

If you want an absolute feast of Korean food with leftovers to spare, Kimchimama is our favourite spot.

Here you’ll find piping hot corndogs, chewy tteokbokki and of course the classic K.F.C. (Korean Fried Chicken). They’ve also got chicken katsu curry if you’re looking for something a little more familiar.

Find them at 142 Fleet St, EC4A 2BP.

Chi Noodle & Wine Bar

This is the best happy hour in the City. It’s the secret spot and our pick for after-work drinks.

The vibes are immaculate, the staff are so friendly and attentive, the drinks are very reasonably priced, and of course, the food is fantastic. There’s a really great variety to choose from covering a wide selection of East Asia.

Find them at 5 New Bridge St, EC4V 6AB.

Eatviet

And finally, if you want one of the msot frequented spots around, Eatviet. The beef rice bowl is a bodybuilder’s dream, the tofu salad brings the flavour for vegans, and of course, you know like any good Vietnamese spot, they have both the classic noodle soup phở, and of course bánh mì.

Find them at 109 Fleet St, EC4A 2AF.

This is just a selection of the spots the area has to offer for Asian food.  We're so pleased there's such a strong selection and variety of Asian cuisines to choose from, and if you’ve been to any others in the area that you like, let us know!
