Explore Roman London while examining contemporary art in this hands-on family activity

Join London Mithraeum Bloomberg SPACE for free, hands-on art activities for children and families inspired by our newest installation, 'Folkmoot' by Anne Ryan.

Children will take inspiration from the exhibition's vibrant sculptures, paintings, and friezes to build their own sculptural creations.

Afterward, follow the wildlife trail to discover birds, beasts, and other creatures hidden throughout the installation and among the Roman artefacts on display, before continuing your journey beneath the city to discover the atmospheric Temple of Mithras.

Times: Thursday 23 July, 10am–4pm

Tickets: This is a free event, but you should book a 30 minute time slot in advance.

Practical Information

Suitable for children aged 5–11, with all ages welcome.

3:30pm – 4pm is Quiet Hour at London Mithraeum Bloomberg SPACE. This session has a smaller capacity to ensure a quieter experience for those with sensory needs.
